  1. Reloading/Ammunition
I been reloading for 45 acp for awhile now, but over the past year I gotten two 45 long colt weapons. Will the same projectile work in both? thanks

Went to bump this in the for sale page, but see it has already been moved to Sold. Guess there is no interest in it here. Might be due to the caliber. Does anyone know where I could get some .32 Colt New Police cartridges, or a suitable alternate? I have seen online that the .32 S&W Long is the...
  3. Long Guns
Stopped by Gary's in Columbus today, just snooping around. Actually was looking for one of the new Springfield Hellcats to wrap my hand around. Didn't have one, so fondled some other compacts. Liked a S&W but didn't have cash on me. On the way out went by the rifle rack and there was a Henry...

I am considering trading, straight up, my Colt 6520 with the restricted markings for a Dan Wesson Valor in black and 45 caliber. The Valor has the box, Chip McCormick mag, Wilson Combat mag, and one Dan Wesson mag. Both mine and his are in great shape. What y’all think? Good deal?

Picked this up a few weeks a ago. SN makes is a 1995 Gold Cup National Match. But... I have another 70 series GCNM, and it has a NM slide, NM barrel, and target sights. Did they change slides to what’s on here now for the 80 series, or ones made in the 90s? Figured I’d ask the MSGO experts on...

For anyone, that was interested in one; Better check out Hickock 45s Video & few others first. Having major issues with cylinder lockup, light primer strikes, etc. Believe a few guys on S&W forum have had issues as well. Just FYI. I called friend this morning that was intended on getting one ,to...

I'd love to do this, but the cost is ~$2,000 But, three days to build an M1 and then take it home with you? What an opportunity. Advanced Maintenance Class - Civilian Marksmanship Program

Quietly, a storied Connecticut gun industry shrinks sharply Interesting reading. Sad in a way though. Will the last gun company leaving CT please turn out the lights and close the door behind you?

I had to share this one! Dad was looking to buy some things from an estate several years ago. Just decided to buy the whole lot instead of going through it in pieces. Well, included in there was this gem! Colt single action stamped US and dated 1882. The guy said it’s just some old revolver...

What do you do when you have 250 rounds of 41 colt ammo you can not sell. You buy a gun that shoots 41 colt. Cimarron Lightning .41 Colt 3.5 inch bbl it is a little thing. but shoot when I pull the triggers, if it not raining tomorrow afternoon I set up some targets\
  15. Gunsmithing
Anyone know of a gunsmith with experience on old Colt double action revolvers? Specifically correcting "out-of-time" issues? I understand that any gunsmith worth his salt can do a "tune & tighten" on a S&W, but from what I gather the old Colt's are a different story.

Serial number shows 1918'ish manufacture date or so. One of my great uncles owned this gun. Left it in the wrong kind of case and it pitted it all up. I used a scotchbrite wheel on a drill to polish some it up some. Is she ugly? Yes... but still fun, no not fun, that is the wrong word...

I am looking for mainly just the rear night/fiber optic sight portion for this pistol. Friend does not want to spend a lot of money on these sights as the pistol is just a beater/cheapo pistol to him. I have seen the Dawson sights, but figured there has to be some other company manufacturing...

Lurking beneath all that "tactical" add-on paraphernalia is a genuine WWII issue USGI M1911A1 manufactured by Colt in 1943... and hopefully "unmolested" otherwise!!! This WWII production Colt sold for $1,525.00 when the final hammer fell on this Bud's E-Gunner auction... :) COLT MFG. 1911...
