I have an original (Windham MA) Bushmaster AR and want to replace the pistol grip; cannot figure out how / what tool to use to do this. Has a round nut deep in the grip that I cannot reach, has anyone removed one of these, and if so, HOW? TIA

I found a really nice, like new 66-1 at my local pawn shop. I am going to look at it again today. It has what I call the "football" grips but the butt of the grips do not have square corners, they are rounded. Is this a S&W I have never seen or did someone alter them. It is a square butt frame...

Anybody ever use this on a pistol slide to get a better gripping surface? Also called Shurtape, etc. (sold at hardware stores). How does it hold up if you have used it? Any other paint on or stick on products to reduce slipping?
