I picked up a Marlin 1894 in 44 mag recently from 1Adam12. He had some nice parts on it but I wanted to go another route so I pulled those off to use on another gun. I also have an 1894 CST (357, 16.5” threaded barrel). Those come with XS sights from the factory. I added a Scout rail and a VX2...

I have a Marlin 1894 in .44 Mag (1982 vintage) that I've been using for CAS matches. The rifle was purchased used and worked well for over a year. Recently it's been suffering from the infamous "Marlin jam" and caused me to blow two matches (grrrr). After a lot of internet research I saw...

I bought a truck from a buddy the other day. While I was there, he said, “I know you are into Marlins. Would you be interested in this Model 39 I am about to list?” Well you know I was. Sweet little rifle. These are so much nicer than the Henrys. And he made me an irresistible package deal for...

Picked up this 1978 Marlin last week at a local pawn shop. I saw it there the week before but passed on it because of the condition. Went back last week and looked at it again. Decided the rust was just on the surface and the scratches on the wood could be touched up. I didn't take a before...

Someone gave us this box as it wouldn't work in his 308 Win. He didn't have a marlin exp, nor do we, so it's free to a good home. Would like someone who actually can use it to have it. 308 Marlin EXP. 14 rounds left. call or text me 6012019665

I found this one sitting in the back of a rack. I'm sure it was all the way in the back because who in their right mind would buy it. The Bad: It has rust and pitting all over it. The stock is cracked but some epoxy should take care of that. The buttplate is good. The...

Here she is fresh from the Gulf Coast. Receiver is almost perfect, a little fine rust on the mag tube (easily corrected), the “bullseye” is messed up but I have a new one to install. I’m gonna re-finish the wood and install an old all steel Lyman peep sight. I’m molding bullets tonight.

I have recently started looking for a marlin .357 without cross bolt safety and didn't realize they were so pricey. What is a fair value for this model? Anyone seen any in pawn shops in the Jackson area?

I have been looking for one of these in good condition for some time now. It’s been in a closet most of its life and near flawless. With a rating from 90-95% from two other gun guys I trust. What kind of value would y’all say she’s worth. She’s a tack driver and smooth as silk. Sorry for the...

I lucked up and was able to grab this marlin 1894CST from Yarob. This rifle has a 16 1/4 inch threaded barrel chambered in 357 magnum, is stainless, and has black painted wood stocks. Other than the barrel length and chambering, it is totally different than any other lever action rifle I...

Just picked this little jewel up this morning (on my birthday). Found it for sale locally on the MeWe website. It's my 2nd purchase originating from MeWe (first was a Ruger M77/357 bolt action) and both went really smooth. This one is a 1975 Marlin model 1894 in .44 Rem Mag, JM-stamped...

Some of you probably followed my cowboy load development for my .44 Magnum revolvers. That resulted in a mouse fart load of 5.5 grains of Trail Boss behind a 120 grain round ball in a .44 Russian case. Over the months I've been refining the load for my (new-to-me) Marlin 1894 .44 Mag carbine...

I just got a new to me 336 in 32 Winchester Special. It has the 24" barrel and the half tube. According to the serial number it is from 1950. Anyone have one like this? What is your opinion on the caliber? Thanks

I've finally brought balance back to the universe...well at least to my safe. For several years now my Marlin 1894 .357's have been outnumbered by the .44's. I finally found another .357 in a pawn shop. This one is a pre-safety JM stamped model made in 1982. I normally prefer them all...
