  1. Mosin M44 value?

    General Firearms Discussion
Believe it’s a Romanian M44 carbine in what research I’ve done. Bore does have some rust. Matching serial numbers. Bayonet. What are these things worth these days?
  2. Mosin Reloading

    Reloading/Ammunition
Finally chrono some reduced loads. Didn't shoot to bad either, as I was able to shoot a 1.09" group at 50 yards with a 2-7x LER scope. Not real used to the LER scope but like it pretty good. I like this load but its only pushing 1720 fps, so I need to work it up till I'm getting about 2400 fps...

    Mil-Surp/C&R/Black Powder
Since I have been selling a few rifles over the past several months, have one safe that was about empty; however, it still had 4 rifles taking up space. There are 2 91/30s (one round and one hex) along with a M44. Decided to do a quick internet search on what these things were selling for and...
  7. Finnish Mosin Nagant 1933 Tikka M27

    Mil-Surp/C&R/Black Powder
New to me Finn M27. About 11,500 of these were made that year so it's a more common year for the M27 which had total production of around 60,000. Mr. Doug's book 'Rifles of the White Death' seems to say only 26,700 M27 were in inventory when Finland surplused the guns...most of the rest lost...
  8. Mosin buying questions

    Mil-Surp/C&R/Black Powder
Reading the sticky, I was reminded that I need to add one to my collection. There are even a few available locally. Is there a guide of what to look for and how much to pay? Which ones are desired and which are to be avoided? Local rifles seem to be around $200-$300
