I recently got a nice Ruger 10/22 on special from Academy.
Started the project by getting an Archangel stock and a .920 dia threaded bull barrel. Swapped out the trigger group with a Ruger BX-2 and added the extended magazine release.
The next guy that has to change out that barrel is going to cuss me big time. I chilled the barrel in the freezer for a couple of hours and heated the receiver with a hair dryer for about 15 minutes until it was too hot to handle with my bare hands. Had to tap the barrel into the receiver with a rawhide mallet to get it seated. Threw on a bipod for the cool factor and a can on the barrel threads.

Added a 3-9 Nikon Prostaff Rimfire scope with a bullet drop compensator and an anti reflective device for optics.

Aw man. You have done messed up. You can’t build just one.
Looks like it will be a fun little rifle.

Low Rider, I see that you went with the Magpul bipod also. I have a 22/45 Lite and the only mods so far on it is that I went with Hi Vis sights on it as well as my Mk IV Target.

I can’t say I like the bipod that much. I couldn’t stomach $300+ for an atlas.
