Rustyc, I'm not familiar with the Clarke triggers, but most of the kits come with shims to take up the side to side play. See if their picture shows the shims. I know the Power Customs I've used and the Volquartzens I've seen have them. It doesn't take much and the shims are very thin, but effective. Took all the play out of both of mine.

Clarke has a very fine reputation on everything they touch. Being a 10/22, a rifle I'm not fond of, there is a limit of what you can do to improve it. It is better to buy a Sako/Kimber/Remington at the price of what you would pay to try to convert a 10/22.

I have a Clarke trigger group in my 10/22. It was the first gun I really modified and I didn't feel qualified so I sent it to them. It is nice and smoothe and not as expensive as you would think. I might let them do my next one also even though I think I could do it know. On a side note and I certainly don't want to get anything started but I think they were the first people to put the bull barrel on the 10/22's.
