I was sitting here cleaning my Kimber Ultra Carry II. And it dawned on me. The
1911 will be 100 years old in a couple months! Man I wonder what manufacturers
Have in store for us? I bet there is gonna be some BIG price tags on the anniversary
editions! I wonder if Santa Claus would be nice enough to put on under the tree for
Me? I have been good all year! SORT OF. :2tup:

kimber has as well....i wouldnt mind it if it werent for those grips. they just dont suit it.

i wouldnt mind either of those colts though! just not for that price tag

Yea I don't care for the grips either. But the rest of the weapon is sure nice!

The complete book of the 1911 has all of the anniversary editions. I picked it up on in walmart on the magazine rack. Don't know why they call it a book because it's a magazine? Anyway it's got details on all the anniversary editions. Lots of good info.

Yeah....i got that expensive magazine....then went drinking that night....came home....drank some more.....didn't end well....and that brand new $8~ magazine got caught in the line of fire. Haven't been out like that since....I don't like being that out of control
