The ballistics on the 10mm are pretty impressive. The FBI had to abandon the idea because no one could handle the recoil. Uncle Ted has dropped a lot of varmints with his so there must be something to it.

There are some 10mm shooters here who can offer more first hand information than I can. I will admit that I've been fighting the urge to try it myself.

I love my Glock 20, 10 mm has some serious horsepower.

Check out doubletap ammunition for some full house loads.
Also check out their 9x25 drop in barrel and ammo for a Glock 20. I saw a load on there with a muzzle velocity over 1900 fps!!! Think it was a 95 grn load.

Agreed on the 10mm. With ammo from Double Tap or from Buffalo Bore, it is a serious handgun. I have the Glock 20SF and find it just about the same to shoot as a 45. Heard all the horror stories on recoil, etc., but I honestly do not find them to be true. It is a very manageable handgun.

If someone can't handle the recoil of the 10mm, they need to go fine some testosterone shots. hehehehe

I have a Delta Elite, and I did have a Glock that I traded for something I had to have and haven't replaced yet. I'm very fond of the 10mm

I have one of the steel S&W's, a 1066. Most factory ammo is just loaded to 40 short and weak specs, but as posted above, Buffalo bore will make it roar to life. Recoil isn't a big deal, I can't perceive a meaningful difference with my Colt govt model 1911 with hot loads. Ammo is expensive and scarce so reloading is the only affordable way to shoot it. People with small hands may have trouble reaching around the grip. It fits my big paws just fine.
