Well well well.. thats pretty nasty right there.

at 16k a bolt lug and after another mag a second bolt lug broke.. Quit experiment after that.

"Those are my pics. I took those around the 15K mark. Broke a bolt lug around 16K, second lug broke after another mag or two, then I terminated my experiment. Interestingly enough, the bolt release broke in that 15-16 range as well."

"I lubed with miltec every 700-1000 roundsish. Although, i probably did add more whenever it was a new day at teh range.
Buffer tube broke during the SPOT testing, which was after the torture test was over. Didn't replace any parts during the test, although I had to use charging handle to release bolt towards the end.
Keep in mind this was back in '05, when wolf 223 was $93 delivered."

The barrel would be hopelessly fouled with graphite. The barrel should be cleaned every 100 rounds.

I can't believe you did not replace a bunch of extractors assuming steel case wolfe ammo

I use Militec on all my guns. its nice and smooth. especially on the ARs bolt.

I found that on AR15.com the other day.

Some of them guys were saying dont worry about replacing the barrel till the bullets started keyholing.. HAHA
