1903A3 front sight

Is the front sight on the 1903A3 supposed to be shrouded? I have seen several with the shroud, and several without. What is correct?

You got an 03A3 with a 4 groove barrel?
Thought all 03A3's had 2 groove barrels. Straight 03's have 4.

Right???
