1903A3 front sight

Is the front sight on the 1903A3 supposed to be shrouded? I have seen several with the shroud, and several without. What is correct?

Hammer...what are you doing on the forum at 3 am?.....

I'm embarrassed to say that I really don't know!...Mine has none...I've replaced the blade with a taller front.

You don't seem to be getting any where here yet...I have not found a definitive answer....

The 03A3 guru's hang out on the forums at www.odcmp.com

I thought captain-03 would probably know the answer to this...where is He?...bet He knows
