Nicest deer I saw this year from MS. Need to email that to my aunts and uncles who sold my Grandmothers 360 acres right on the Bouge Chitto. The land was right on the Pike/Walthall line. Some nice bucks taken there, unfortunately not by me.

Hey, guys, I just found an HD vid about the deer that shows the 18-pointer from different angles. Dwight Shaffer, the guy who killed it, also talks about the hunt and the kill while the rack is scored. Pretty neat.

I am just as happy for someone killing a big buck as the next guy but am I the only one who seems to think that it may have been to dark to shoot. He said he couldnt range it cause it was too dark and he didnt see it good enough to know that it was as big as it was. I would hate to see a buck of that size not be in the books because someone did not follow the law. Thed buck definately dserves it.
