I had fun just watching ya'll shoot. I know now what I need for the next one, a BIG scope. Those targets are itty bitty at 100yrds.
I did shoot a couple of those Kimber .22s they are sweet shooting. Might have to invest in one in the furture.

Neck cooked some good food. He must think I'm getting too skinny or something, he kept throwing deer sausage on my plate. :lol4:

Neck thanks for putting the match on, it was great fun.

22RF F-Class Match Results & PICTURES.....

First.... a BIG thanks to Neck for being a GREAT host and cook. I am not going to tell you guys again... If Neck invites you to his place, you GO..... :)

22RF F-Class is fun and relaxing. And you don't need earmuffs..... :) However, good ammo does make a difference...............

Now for the SCORES......

And PICTURES............................

The targets at 100yds.

The target setup for zeroing the rifles. Some of us had 50yd zeros (or no zeros....).

The shooters today. Thanks to Bubba-T for taking this picture.

Getting ready for Stage 1 of the match.

Sensitive content, not recommended for those under 18
Show Content

The match underway...... I finished this stage early, so I jumped up and shot this picture.

"Look at Neck..."

"He wants to go down the line and try each rifle." ................ :)

Captain trying a different Kimber.

Bubba-T with 3 Kimbers to chose from. His sore thumb didn't slow him down much.......

Neck's Kimber with the "spider legs"............. :)

We rag Neck all the time.... but he still cooks up some GREAT food.

We are all STUFFED after lunch.

After lunch the "full-scale" F-Class guns were brought out. Beautiful (and HIGH $$$) rifles.

The future firing line of Neck's long range setup.

Reaching out to almost 300yds.

Yes, the weather was almost perfect today. I really enjoyed my first 22RF F-Class match. I don't think I will jump into "full-scale" F-Class, but looking forward to another 22RF match.

Man, I can practically smell the deerburgers sizzlin'. Geat pics as always SGF, wish I was in a few of them, but some of us have to work.

Hope you all plan on doing it again, hate to think I ordered that Kimber for nothing.

Looks like a real nice place.

Yeah it was plenty of fun...ya'll get your stuff together we will shoot again in December...maybe I'll have some rye grass up by that time and maybe we'll have a supply of wolf match extra...that's what them kimbers want

Stay tuned for a Dec date

Where can you get a copy of the rules? I added myself to the list on getting a Kimber but don't know diddly about the shoot. Ya'll got different classes from what I read. Not ready for the high dollar class this close to Christmas but would like to shoot. What's it run to shoot? And $73 for a brick of 22? That's pretty pricey, what else ya'll use. I throw some money in the pot if we could get the ammo down some.

We shoot these cause the real F class is too expensive..... :rotflmao:

If you wanna shoot your bone stock Ruger 10/22 with Walmart bulk ammo...suits me fine...

I'm tired of being last all the time anyway :lol4:

Ammo makes a big big difference...it really does...don't let anybody BS ya on that

Come to next match Dec 18 Its very informal....

We have a class called (Low Class - Severely Limited) that's the one I shoot....

Some of the basics....

3 strings of 20 shots

10 on each target

25 minutes

shoot from a rest prone....So you need a front and rear rest

100 yards - so if you are over 20 you need some decent magnification powered optics...at least something that to 20X....That x-ring is small at 100 yards

uses 600 yard F class target reduced to scale.

its pretty easy to understand Sid

Just shoot 10 shots on each of your 2 targets on a string in the time given... You are given 5 sighters to dial in on the 1st string...we usually only do 2 sighters on the 2nd and 3rd.

25 min....you got plenty of time to shoot....most of the time we shot a string in under 15 min yesterday

X's count ten points

10's count 10 point

9's count nine etc

20 shots - 200 points possible on a string

we shoot 3 strings of 20 for a total possible of 600...winner buys lunch

as you can see Sidroski...you gotta be shooting high 190's each string to be in the hunt...

Thus...I "created" my own "class" :lol4:

Come shoot - U like
