2011 Scoring System

To be consistent with other ranges our metod of marking scores on the target will change to the below diagram. Note the X and 5 score share the same spot. The shot marker will have to be used to verify.

We use a 5" diameter scoring disc. When the person is in the pits when the competitor on their target shoots they pull the target down into the pits and put a shot marker which is a 2" diameter disc with a center spindle in the hole where the bullet struck and then they put a scoring disc on the edge of the target in the position appropiate for the score of that shot then raise the target. then the shooter is able to look through their scope and tell where their shot went and what score they got for that shot. the scorer on the line uses a spotting scope and records the score on the score card. Where on the 22 matches we would have to wait until after the string to get the score in F-Class you know what the score of each shot is right after the shot is made.

A 16x scope is enough magnification to shoot 600 yards. I used one the first year I shot.
