Keeping the discussion to bolt actions, I have two that are identical, one magazine fed and one that is a single shot. Which would be better on the firing line and why? My scope mount is coming and I need to decide which one to drill and tap.

You will have 20 minutes to fire 25 shots ... go from there!! With a single shot that is a lot of time between shots!!

I mag feed my savage. What I would do is try out both prone and see what you like.
