Heavy sand or tungsten. Shotgun shot will move to easily if you through shot in it put alttile shot and alot of sand. Also get you a bag from sinclair they arent free but they are the best.
Thanks for the advise .... I think I am going to try the sand/shot mixture.

Priced some shot at Bass Pro the other day. I'm sure there are cheaper places...but at those prices you may as well fill it with Krugerands. :p

I like the heavy sand from Sinclair...man it sure took a while to pack the bag with the stuff...a tube funnel is "required"...

I'm not totally sold on the rear bag I got....

I took one of about 25 old Dillon large primer tubes I had and used a pipe cutter to remove the plastic tip. I then took an old old old RCBS powder funnel and drilled out the end. Put a little JB Weld on the tube and screwed it up in the funnel. Works real good. I did this
because I do a lot of bag and ear adjustments. (Schizophrenia is a wonderful excuse for mental over activity as well as other bad behaviors)
Anyway if you have a compressor start by blowing the bag up a little. As you get the bag full you'll have to change the angle and placement of the tube in the bag. Also, an in and out push/pull on the tube helps to empty the funnel when It looks like you can't get anymore in. Then occasionally, while filling it, stick the compressor tip down in the leather filling port, hold it tightly so you don't blow BLACK LAVA SAND back out, and blow it up again. That's WHat I do anyway. Also a bag of BLACK LAVA SAND is a little pricey, but I've been using and reusing the same bag about 10 years.
