Did you get HP or the ones with the plastic tips. I’ve killed lots of deer with Sierra bullets but never with match bullets. I would think the plastic tip match bullets would probably work for hunting. But I wouldn’t trust the hollow point match bullets.

I used the 125gr TMK in my 18" AR10. It was fast and flat.
Not sure how far this deer was but it was under 400 yards cause that's where the ditch was. I'd guess 275ish?
Neck shot with the 125 was nasty! It didn't exit. It didn't move either. When it it fell over and didn't even kick.

I got some 155 TMK to test too.
But didn't see many deers this year. I kept the 6.8 with me mostly tho.

i see you

I have tried several loads with 4064 with the SMK's and one with the TMK's and it has not got under an inch at 100 yet. I think I need to go to 175's. I have some loaded with Varget just need to try them, somethin has to work n this rifle.

What twist is your barrel? A lot of the Remingtons are 1/12" instead of 1/10" and will favor the lighter bullets.

Mine will shoot the 168's ok, but it really likes 155-grain Hornady A-Max.
