Im thinking on what handgun to get my wife and while browsing bud's I came across some 32s. I know nothing about this caliber so I thought I would ask: is it worthless for SD or what? I want manageable recoil yet sufficent stopping power for her since recoil and noise tend to make people like my wife uninterested in firearms real quick. I am still leaning towards getting her a .38 or .357 loaded with 38s but I thought I would check into the 32 before I made up my mind (although its not like I'm buying it any time soon)...so whats the verdict?

I sometimes carry a 32 H&R snubbie. I think it will do the job of a SD round. It is extremely accurate, and I shoot it well with either hand.
