35 Whelen muzzle velocity / barrel length

I'm shooting a 28" barrel, 35 Whelen. All of the reloading books & reference generally refers to 22 or 24" barrel length. Anyone got any ideas of what bullet speed I should be expecting. General load is 200 gr about 2650-2800 fps.
