I loaded Bullseye for years in .38 special but wanted to try TiteGroup. I am using Rainier 125 grain fmjfp. I show a start of 3.2 and max of 3.8 off the Hodgon website. My book doesn't show load for TiteGroup and that light a bullet. What are your pet loads for this powder? I will use in IDPA but I am not worried about making power factor yet.

Try some unique...its cheap and works great in 38 special

looked in my hodgdon imr basic reloading guide....

125 grain bullet hdy xtp titegroup load for 38 special 4.6 grains

+p load 5.0 grains

I should have said they were plated or encapsulated bullets instead of fmj (full metal jacket). Rainier says to load their coated bullets as if they were lead. Neck, I saw that load in my book also, sorry for not being more specific.

I load 125g lazercast (lead) with 3.5g of titegroup. Good accuracy and they chrono 842 fps average. Thats out of a 4 5/8" Ruger Vaquero.
