ok ok has anyone seen these! omg they are nasty looking and they are not priced that bad either. $38
from a couple sites they are saying they are explosive and dont penetrate good untill you get to 75-100 yards.. heck i like explosive :cool2g:

Tried the 500 gr. Barnes TSX in that 45-70?
Swore I'd never shoot anything but my big cast bullets out of mine, but saw those and just had to try them. Haven't had the opportunity to shoot a deer with one yet, but a friend I loaded some for said it about took the front end off a doe at about 30 yards.

never tried them the only 500gr i own are about 80 woodleigh weldcore rnsp. that was my backup round for up north incase something "spookie" came out

What are you shooting those big bullets out of?
I've some 550 gr. lead flat points that oughta slow something spooky down.
