I was in a gun shop the other day lookin and they had a S&W nightgaurd in 45 acp. Man what a sweet gun! Wasn't a fan of the grips as they were cheap feeling rubber but it was a sweet looking gun. Bigger frame, 2.5" barrel and tritnium front sight. It was way cool.

I have a .45 ACP revolver. It is a Webley Mark I British service revolver. I really enjoy shooting it. It gives me a lot of enjoyment to shoot a revolver that is 121 years old.

Doug,

When was it converted to ACP?
The revolver is marked "ENGLAND". This is what they used to mark imported guns in the 1950's and 60's. It is the Country of origin. This piece was converted by the Importer in the 1960's. I remember Golden State Arms selling the Webley revolvers for $12.95 if in .455 Eley or $16.95 when converted to .45 ACP. It is not recommended to use hardball 230 gr .45 ACP ammo in the Webley revolvers. I load 200 gr bullets at 650 fps in my olde Webley. Kinda like throwing a brick.
