Forecast was for the wind to blow again today so went back to my beach front shoreline big trout spot. Got there a little before daylight and by 5:45 had two big trout on ice. 15 mins later caught a 7-8 pound red and turned it loose and that was it. I had 4 hits, hooked 4 fish, landed 4 fish and kept 2 for the freezer. Also caught one tiny white trout and never had another hit after that. The wind and 4' waves still has the water pretty dirty where I am bank fishing and everything was caught on the pink rattletrap. The 2 trout were in the 4 pound range, the biggest may be close to 5.

I went Thurs. and Fri. And the wind blew and blew. Water was dirty and there were more of those oil booms than I've ever seen. Every cut was blocked off and the whole La marsh was closed for fishing. We didn't catch a single Trout. We did catch some flounders, reds, and Black drum. Nobody I spoke to had caught any trout. Maybe later I guess.
WTG. Sj nice catch.
