My buddy and I went out this morning and decided it was good enough to take our 16' skiff out front this morning. Got to the spot we wanted to fish just a little after daylight (wish we would have gotten there at daylight) Wasn't long and I was hooked up with a big trout but he tore the hooks out. I ended up losing 2 big trout and my buddy lost 2 big trout and one about 16". Only hooked 15 all morning and boated 10 of those but they were big ones. I will get some pictures and post them. Caught them early on mirrolure and plastics under a cork and then strictly on mirrolures after the sun got up good.

clear water and plenty of bait. fish are plentiful right now out there.

If you read the guide reports they are catching a lot of fish in the Marsh. Last report I got from any of my buddies they are murdering the BIG trout at Flatboat. Had a buddy stay over night in his boat and fish Flatboat Tuesday and Wednesday but I don't have a report yet.

Say when? Took it in for service and also to have a new compass mounted. Told me they should have it ready Monday or Tuesday .... Someone may have to help me into the boat ... don't need to stand to cast a line ...

PS: Don't tell SJ, but I think we need to follow him one day .... :lol:

SJ might want to go in a big boat. He got a small boat like mine and u gotta pick REALLY good days to run to marsh.
