ok i know 50bmg bullets is .510 and 500 bullets are .50 my question is could you get a 500 encore barrel and have the chamber cut longer and use 50bmg bullets if you sized them down to .50? My thoughts is a supressed 50cal slinging 700-1000gr bullets.

why not just get a 510 whisper? making brass for that unit is a PITA from what i have read. this option would be the easier route "i think"

they make a 750gr cast for the 500 i dont see why it cant sling a bmg round?? 300 yards max would be all i would be interested in shooting it

It would take awhile for a 700gr bullet to slow down goin 1050fps..
