There's no concrete answer to this question. It totally depends on what you want to build. Standard trigger, match trigger, what kind of stock? And then you get into the more expensive area... the upper and those can go from cheap to outrageous. However, you gain a really good understanding of the construction of an AR and that's the best thing about building your own. :2c:
