Just something that I came across on the web. It's probably been shown here before.

The .750 Nitro Express: Creation of the Imperial Russian Armory in Houston, Texas.
It uses a 3.5" case and a true .750" bullet weighing 1300 grains.
Tested to 2200 fps.
Muzzle energy 13975 foot pounds.
Taylor knockout value is 306.
Recoil: Described by the originator as beyond the limits of the human body.

The .750... with a .35 Whelen and a .460 Weatherby for scale.

I would guess that the few that were made had more cost than that in making them.
I'm not so sure that I believe him but the guy that posted that pic on another forum said that he had been offered $1500 for it as a collector item. (Actually, I haven't found that the "Imperial Russian Armory in Houston, Texas" even exist.)

if its a custom hand made double you more than likely wont find the smith online also there is usually about a 18+month turn around time.. some of the old english 4bore rifles cost more than most peoples houses
