That's what I'm thinking. There should be some data out there, though. Back in the '90s, we shot a good bit of factory ball 158gr 9mm. I don't remember if it was S&B, Fiocchi, or maybe Israeli surplus. I was hoping someone had done this before. I did see in an old Lyman manual, data for a 160 grain round nose lead bullet. I may try to start there. Thanks for the input.

There was a guy in a Facebook group that did 158 cast using suppressed sub gun and I think he used AA#7 100%case full using a wooden dowel to mark bullet depth and case capacity. I’m going to look now.

I'd appreciate it if you did find some data and kept me updated.

As a follow-up, I have a successful load. It is as follows:

Cartridge: 9x19mm (9mm Luger)
Bullet Weight/Diameter: 158 Grain Semi-Jacketed Hollow Point / Sized to .356”
Manufacturer: Prvi Partizan (PPU)
Load: 3.7 grains AA#2, CCI SPP
Velocity @ 10’ from muzzle: 910 FPS
Expansion: .474” (water)
Retained Weight: 157.2 grains
Test Firearm: Browning High Power
