this may be a dumb question,but i got to ask. is 9x19 the same as 9mm luger?

as far as I know it is but it would be wise to get a 2nd opinion because I have been known to be wrong a few times.

BTW theres no such thing as a dumb question.

It should be the same, 9x19 is the correct size of ammo and case, here in Germany they sell ammo as 9 mm Luger or 9 mm Para which means both 9x19.

Years ago I taught in a high school vo-tech, and there is such a thing as a stupid question. Many of them in fact. lol
