Outside of Coldwater today I shot 2 magnum rounds and the trigger lock seems to have broken locking the hammer. The taurus Key would not fix it with repeated attempts. I had shot a hundred or so in another session. Too bad, though I'm packing a trusty pt145 pro now.

Kind of in a bind there. Can't ship it partially loaded (I would think you had more than two rounds in it). Does Rossi/Taurus have certified gunsmiths? I would think you would have to go to a FTF gunsmith to get it fixed. I hate those trigger locks, always have worried about it locking up at a bad time. Let us know how it works out.

I don't like internal trigger locks. Or external ones either. There are better ways to secure a firearm than these gadgets. Give me an older firearm without all the unnecessary safety devices.

I agree with doug! Never liked that in the taurus I owned.

Take it to a smith...I'd be willing to bet a quick internet search would locate a way to disable the internal lock

It can be done to S&W's if you are good enough friends with the smith....

There are vids on youtube on how to disable internal locks on S&W revolvers
