Re: A new definition for "...REALLY into...."

What's interesting to me is that I have two Savage MKIIs one is a BTVS the other a TR. The BTVS shoots consistently under 1.00 at a hundred with Ten-X the TR shoots a real nice 3+ inch group with it.
The TR however, ( I won't say consistently), has more than once, shot eley club (Orange Box $9.00) into .5 at a hundred.
Go figure.

Re: A new definition for "...REALLY into...."

Of course you're right Midas. I have done quite a bit of testing with the BTVS. So far neither gun likes anything in the 4.00 range :whaaa: I'll tell ya, I've really grown fond of Savages lately. Wouldn't use to own anything but a Remington. I have noticed that they tend to prefer the high dollar stuff. Even my real F-Class gun. It took me 450 rounds to find my load because I resisted Bergers. Tried everything Sierra makes. Tried a few Hornadys. But it didn't start shooting bug holes until I tried Berger 185s, which of course can be purchased locally all day long for 53.00 a box of 100.
Now if they'll just make a Savage that will shoot .1s using Sierra or Hornady I'll be tickled. Still like em though :D
