Just finished this project. This is a Rem 700 and Glock 17 in matching Duracoat desert digital. We haven't been impressed with the recommended desert color scheme so we went "rogue" with this. The colors are desert mirage sand and brown with magpul dark earth as the primary color. There's even some self lubricating duracoat in these

I like it but think it needs more breakup in it. more of the other colors in it. these two have too much of the background color in it and need to have the other colors to break it up more. just my :2c: but you asked

Caleb, very nice..... I'd spoken with you about doing a rifle for me, but I hadn't considered doing a matched pair, or maybe throw a shotty in there as well for a trio?!?!!?! I'll be contacting you again pretty soon!!! Thanks for the pics, great job!!!

I'm inclined to agree with dhollis51. It could use a little more break up. We're constantly tweaking our process and trying different techniques to improve the finished product. Unfortunately, you can't really see the project come together. You don't really know what you're dealing with until it's finished. Basically, you get one chance to get it right. Going forward we intend to jumble the patterns a little more. I appreciate the constructive criticism. It's nice to know what fresh eyes see when looking at our work.

Tombomb, bring it on buddy. You could even have matching knives and flashlights. Now men can accessorize without the fear of being "metro sexual" : )
