Thanks! Talk about a long time coming. Its my first buck with horns(that have broke skin) its only 2nd deer since I was 11 and just happens to be my 2nd deer in a weeks time. Took my friend hunting and put her in the blind while I climbed the tripod. We saw eye shine of a deer when we got to the stand and didn't see nothing else till 9:15 when all of a sudden deer were coming out of no where chasing does. All together we saw 7 bucks and 4 does in the matter of 15 minutes. As soon as I saw them come thru I started blowing the grunt call and after 15 minutes of watching deer scurrying like ants that have been stirred up this 1 came up behind us where my friend couldn't see him or get a shot. So I took a shot with him slightly quartering towards me and placed it right behind his front shoulder. He ran about 100 yards and dropped. We thought I had made a bad shot cause about 10 minutes later another doe and buck came running through. We finally got off the stand and started trailing him. We trailed him 100 yards then drug him back up hill through briers and loaded him on the 4 wheeler.

Never let it be said that you don't help put meat on the table. No little helpless housewife here, for sure.
If we ever have to go back to self subsistance, I want to find a lady just like you, because I'm afraid I'm gonna need a little help cultivating that garden.
Did you dress it yourself? I'll bet you got a good start on it, if you didn't do the whole job yourself. I like capable women. None of that clinginess and neediness for me. heck, most of the women I know are as smart or smarter and every bit as strong as I am.

Didn't clean it on my own but I did help and I can do it on my own if I have to. What man in his right mind doesn't want a wife that can kill it, track it, drag it, clean it and cook it?
