"Ammo Prices Rise 10-25% In March!"???

My weekly CDNN email says, "Ammo Prices Rise 10-25% In March!"

They are a pretty good company and not prone to gouging as far as I know.

Anybody else heard this?

Seems strange that all manufacturers would raise prices at one time.

Maybe there is a copper shortage or something.

Some new hidden tax in the guise of a safety or environmental regulation?

Oh probably using the unrest in the Middle East to stick the green weenie to us.

Man while these clowns play games in Wisconsin, Iran is moving war ships through the Suez Canal....

I say a lot of wholesalers and retailers of gun products are gonna get scared again and raise prices...

I've never had to pay $3 + for gas in Feb....just a little more unrest in Middle East and you can say hello $4 and $5 gas and a whole lot more economic trouble for our country because of it...

How's that "Hope and Change" working for ya :lol4:

Oil will drive the price of ammunition higher; components are made with petroleum products, it takes oil (gas & diesel) to transport, and finally oil products to make the electricity to run the factory that makes components / finished ammunition. Stock up, this one is predictable.

And that's exactly what I'm doing - just picked up 500 more rounds of starline 45acp brass. Just quietly acquiring components for 2 rifles and 3 handguns.

What's wrong with alittle ammo & reloading supply hoarding, yeah oil going up over 100 a bbl predicted by 2014 to be +/-200 oh yeah we all love (change) and apparently steel is on the rise as I see everyone hauling a truck/trailer load every time I'm on the road. Stock up guys you can never have to many guns & bullets?

Gas has gone from 2.99 to 3.21 in McComb (Friday 18th - Thurs. 24th). Went up .04 today alone, was 3.17 this morning and 3.21 after w&rk today. The gas prices are like the canary in the coal mine; oh and have y'all tried to buy produce lately? Americans spend an average of only 10% of income on food, the lowest % of income in the world. That is about to change drastically. Notice the increases in your grocery store...BOHICA ! Stock up if you can. Max out the cards, those $$ ain't going to be worth anything soon anyway.

Last night around 2100 hrs when I got off from class I went to get gas and go to the grocery store for a few things. Last night the gas station was advertising regular unleaded at $3.06 (but I use the mid-grade stuff so it was more for me). Tonight on my way to work that same gas station was $3.24.
