I’m considering building a brass annealing machine , if anyone has done that I would appreciate your experience and input. Thanks!
I tried a candle a while back. Did it in the dark but didn’t see a glow. Dropped cases as they got too hot to hold at the base. No idea if it helped anything or not. Tried it on my most worn out 45-70 cases. Been loaded about 20 times now.Wondering if anyone has tried “candle annealing” ? Also read a similar article using a “alcohol burner” ? Do these methods actually get the brass to the proper temp to actual anneal it?
Seems like a cost effective method, if it actually works
Been thinking about doing the same; let me know how you make outI'll likely going to order an annealeze with my Christmas money.
