Do you know if any other individual shooting will be allowed?Cliff Cargill said:It should be a good one! Every year we demo all the different types of competitions.
right on Target --- just come and join!!robertm said:Joe,
Yes you will be able to join that day. You can go between 9 and 11 typically and join. It is 100 for the first year. After that is 75, You will have to attend the safety class and orientation that afternoon to be a member and receive a badge
I hear what you're saying but there are 100's of people there and all demos are done on supervised ranges. It's just too many people there and a new person could break the rules without even knowing it and there could easily be an accident.Brutus said:Do you know if any other individual shooting will be allowed?Cliff Cargill said:It should be a good one! I like to get there early to get a good parking spot, get my dues paid before the line gets long, and just generally shoot the bull, but there's not any shooting allowed other than the demonstrations. Seems kinda silly, being able to shoot handguns as part of a demonstration, but not being able to go down to the main rifle range and shoot a rifle. I know that they sometimes do the handgun silhouette demo down on the short side of the 300 yard range, but that's always been after lunch and the main meeting. If you get there early and you get tired of BS'ing with your buddies, you pretty much have to waste the whole morning waiting for the meeting and lunch.
JMHO....
