Don't know about Craig's list being hostile, but it's loaded with kooks & creeps. I'd NEVER let one of them come to my home. Did sell something there once, not a gun, met them in a parking lot in broad daylight. And yes, my "little friend" was in my pocket and his big brother on the seat of the car.

Craigslist is based in the land of libtards (san francisco) so they are extremely anti gun, that said ive bought/sold several off there. You just have to get creative... i had an ad for a ak run for about 10 days... listed as a romanian hunting partner.
There are many self appointed post police on cl that live to flag ads. Also, NEVER let a cl nut job come to your house. Ive met some good people on there but most should be locked up and or medicated heavily. Theres also several going around taking the items and running when they meet up to buy something , so be careful. I had a meet arranged to meet a guy to sell a busted iphone i have, he was a little too eager so my bs-o-meter went off and i backed out. Next day there was a post about some body being robbed by the guy.

It's nice to have MSGO. U don't worry to much about one of y'all trying to jack me. Besides, this is not the kind of crowd that a person should try to pull a fast one on. Good way to get some hot lead thrown at you

Craig's List bashing aside, thanks for the link. That Remingon 870 youth 20 ga. might just be the ticket for the wife's HD gun.

The Miss. Market Bulletin has a firearms section, usually has a few good deals.

I don't think it's been mentioned, but the Tradewinds magazine used to have their own site online and it was merged into recycler.com sometime back. I don't think all the ads from the magazine make it to recycler.com but it seems like most do.

Got a chuckle from CL a while back when someone was posting some sort of advice for us. I think he called us a bunch of sneaky a$$ed gun sellers. Never understood their reasoning for banning gun sales, though. Seems you can sell anything else, including, but not limited to, your body and/or organs.:) I've bought and sold a few things on CL, but it's not as useful today as it once was. Too many crazies and scammers for my taste.
