bought a 357 the other day and it came with 2 boxes of Alabama Ammo. just talked to the guy and he offers 1000 rounds of 38 spl lead bullet for $220 and that is without having to trade in brass. anyone ever use these guys?

Haven't seen them at a gun show in close to a year....but I've missed a few. Bought some 40s and 45acps from them last time I saw them and they all fed well....didn't test for groups or anything but they shot well when I did my part.

I've been told it's loaded pretty hot...so I guess I would be weary of what I put it through

I think they make it to all the big shows in jackson. Were there last month, pretty sure they will be there this weekend too.

Yes, I have bought his 45acp, 44mag, 9mm, and 223....all shot perfectly, and very clean unlike some factory ammo..... :thumbup:

I've bought some 38 spl 125 JHP, and some 55 gr FMJ 223. All was fine top quality stuff. I did not chrono the 223, but I did the 38. I wouldn't exactly call them "hot". Out of a Timber Wolf rifle they were 1045 fps, out of a 4" GP 100 they were 861 fps, and out of a 2 1/4" SP 101 they were 904 fps.

I used to get some really good componet buys from him, granted you would have to spend several hundred to get him to start cutting the price any.
