Stopped getting AAA 10 years ago, even though they keep sending me renewal packets. Had the top level coverage, but they kept going up on price and down on services. Got better coverage paying AT&T $3 a month, now I get almost the same coverage for free with my car insurance through Farm Bureau.

I had AAA, the one time I used it wasn't worth the effort. Actually cost me more time, and no savings on tow bill. It was written up to show a savings.

I dislike AARP more than AAA, since they sold out to back Obamacare at the likely detriment of most of their membership. That said, I haven't had AAA in decades. Most insurance policies have an inexpensive towing rider you can add.

I throw all AARP junk mail away. If I use anything for a discount, It's my VA card and most of the time I don't use it unless it's at Home Depot.

AARP is big time anti Second Amendment. Trash can for all their crap.

When you get any trash mail with a postage paid return envelope.
stick a note in it saying hell no and mail it back.
at least costs them the postage.
