Me - " I fears the Covid something fierce! Get back plague carrier! Back I say! Uncle Joe says social distancing! Bad breath! Bad breath!"
" I want to talk about the good news of Amway first"
"Sure. Let me set up the video recorder and a live stream first"
Might also be worth asking "For what reason?" And if they reply wth generic vague, passive aggressive, Fedcoat jibber jabber, often beginning with words like "We just", just reply "Not good enough".Home security cameras and DVRs are one's best friends.
There's a new danger to firearm loss recently. Pythons. One ate a woman in Indonesia the other day, and those big snakes are all over FL and probably other coastal areas. If one can swallow a human, a few black rifles and handguns would be no problem.Make sure to ALWAYS wear your life jacket when out in the boat!

Ah Yes! Thank You! The greatly feared Colt Python boating accident. All my Colts are on the boat.
I don't think the ATF cares too much about Domestic Violence. That would be the local LE that would respond to that.If your ex decides to tell the police you threatened her, the BATF won’t knock! And it takes 6 months and a good lawyer to get your firearms back. Pontotoc, MS
Red Flag laws aren’t anything new for the BATF. No warrant needed.
I don't know why local LEO would even contact the ATF about a domestic violence threat.I don't think the ATF cares too much about Domestic Violence. That would be the local LE that would respond to that.
You would think an official letter from the ATF would be on ATF letterhead...Here is a partial close up of the document and a pic of the other correspondence that was left the warned individual. I have the person's name and address on the document that was provided to me in confidence. I don't think any person accused would want their name and address published on any forum when pertaining to such a private matter. Or for fear of some one attempting a robbery thinking there were lots of guns around. I will try to print the photo and block the name and address so the entirety of the notice can be read. Apparently, a couple are going to jail. One was a convicted felon who was actually manning the booth at the flea market. The Web page operator is also going up on charges. The friend of my friend got off with this warning, as they didn't have enough on him, apparently.

Fortunately for campers and hikers you can hear them clanking their way toward you after they eat a bunch of firearms hardware. When they drop out of a tree, it sounds like a big arsenal duffle hitting the ground and sometimes during a drop something goes off and ends the snakes' career. There's a new danger to firearm loss recently. Hey, boss man, enlighten everyone on what the O-fficial ATF letterhead looks like. We all may need to know. Better yet, why don't you personally drive a copy of this up to your nearest ATF Field Office and ask. That will settle it right then and there. As stated in my original post in this thread, I don't give a 1/2 a chip whether anybody believes it or not. But somebody wanted to see the evidence, well here is what started stirring the pot. It took me 15 minutes of my life to print you a little less of a "chop job" for your personal viewing pleasure. That's about 14 1/2 minutes more than it's worth. This man's name and address won't be brought out by me. I gave my word to my friend, and it's the decent thing to do. You know people DO make money at home that they try to pass off as the real thing. Anybody could find ANYTHING online and copy and paste right? So how DO you know when it's the real thing? Go ask! Anybody want to take the challenge? SURELY SOMEBODY here is ex- or current law enforcement that has a friend that can verify if this is what the genuine article would look like. I questioned it myself at first. I couldn't understand why a warning would be issued if something illegal was done. I didn't have all the details. People WERE arrested over this. At least 2. This person has escaped prosecution, at least temporarily, by virtue of lack of evidence to convict OR maybe he plea bargained his way out and rolled on the others. Have no idea. I've got other emails with more details. That's not relevant here. The only question here is whether this document is real or not. The address on this is to a TINY little place I'd never even heard of before in MS. My friend told me about this in confidence, and I hadn't thought a split second about this thread until he told me. Now his word is good enough for me. Maybe I'm old fashioned. A man that I know is a good man that gives me his word, that's all I need. Some people, by nature, won't believe anything if believing means they have to worry about it, or even face it. There MIGHT be more pages to this, I didn't ask. Maybe his buddy concocted the whole thing to drive off his competition. Hey, THERE'S an alternate idea. Don't care. You guys are grown and can make up your own minds. Tried to blow up the emblem on the letter for you, but it's a picture of a picture of a copy of a picture of a copy of a picture. It's a little grainy. Can't make it any clearer without showing you the oldest copy personally. Not going to happen. Best wishes. You would think an official letter from the ATF would be on ATF letterhead...
AND it would read much easier if you included the whole letter and redacted his info rather than the chop job. Otherwise it looks like something I could print at home.
