Anyone interested in a Night Shoot? Hinds Cty Sat - Oct 23rd -

Last Date Change - Its Oct 23rd 5:00 pm - till...



Well its getting cooler now....I'm getting the place mowed up...looking nice...lots of bush piles to burn.

Gonna be off the week of Oct 11th....anyone interested in participating in a night shoot?

Undecided about the format right now....wish I had some steel to shoot....

I imagine I could fire up the grill for ya'll


Obviously revolvers,semi-auto pistols and shotguns only...It would be a good time to test out all them fancy laser beams, night sights and surefire flashlights.

Ya'll let me know...My place is in Hinds Cty about 5 miles from Clinton

About the only thing I'd need to do is call the game warden I guess to let them know we'd be shooting at night....

Not sure on a day yet...guess a Fri or Sat night would be best...Oct 15th or 16th

Those of you that wanted to crash afterwards....Camping is no problem...plenty of space...bring your own water and TP.

I have a 11 KVA Honda Generator that will supply plenty of light if needed

what's the interest level?......

I'm not opposed to SMGs...we just gotta be a little more careful at night...

A strobe on a Texas Star would be quit interesting....lots of ammo burning I predict


Sad thing no matter what date we pick someone is gonna get left out

Right now...I'm thinking Sat night...I'd like for folks out of town to be able to come...(what's a shoot without G1D and bigsig?)....show up bout 6....set up...do a few eats...light a bonfire

start shooting bout 7:00 pm dusk....shoot till ya'll run out of ammo or get tired...BS around the campfire etc

Might even set up some targets in the little wooded area and let ya'll practice your flashlight and laser skills shooting on the move at night....anybody with any suggestions let me know

when the shootings all done might consider letting ya'll pop a few beverages to mellow out

More ideas please....

10/15 or 10/16 good for me. Don't have any night shooting gear but will be glad to come help cook and B.S.

what I mean by night gear can be as simple as a hand held flashlight to a high dollar ACOG scope..whatever you are comfortable with using...matters not to me...as long as we are all safe...which I'm confident will happen...

we will practice some low-light stuff if ya'll wanna do so as well...I imagine we can scare up a few small generators and extension chords

malfunction drills and speed loads can be fun at night as well

If I can come, I'd like to bring my black powder golf ball mortor. It is definitely not a toy and you and some of the theres can look it over to OK it. Had some Iraqi vets say the concussion was similar to a small IED but it is heavy walled steel and weighs 19 lbs for about a 15" long barrel. With model rocket engine starters, you can fire it from a distance. Look them up on youtube.

How's a Halloween shoot on Sat Oct 30th looking.....

There's gotta be some conflicts somewhere...USPSA matches, Steel Matches, F Class, work schedules
