I went Saturday. Got there about 11:00 and stayed 'til about 2:00.

Pretty decent show. Not a whole lot of bargains to be found, but I found one or two.

Got a very clean Norinco (ChiComm) Tokarev pistol for $225 all in. Picked up a nice, old American-made Redfield widefield 3-9 scope for $75. Got a like new mag for my Glock 20 that was just a one-off oddball that a dealer happened to have for $15. Only mag on his table.

I guess word hasn't gotten around real good that there's a Natchez gun show back in existence. I was talking to a dealer and he said this is only the second one by this new promoter. As far as I know, there hadn't been a gun show in Natchez since back in the 80's. The Natchez show in June of '85 was the first gun show I ever went to - about two weeks after I graduated from high school.

It was a pretty good show. I guess it was about equivalent to the smaller (non-Great Southern) shows that are held in Jackson.

Actually the last great southern show was the smallest one ive seen in a long time. Ernie bean has po'ed a lot of dealers from what some have told me. Im not sure if ill go to the next great southern one.
