i just ordered one and apparently paid too much for it. (thanks nonnieselman for the cheaper link)

anyway i got the 6-24x50 crossfire for my 17hmr. what yall think?

Thanks to SGF i have a good picture of my rifle with the Vortex..

I dont have any complaints except the 6X power doesnt work so well for the closeup shots. but ill manage.

I read a bunch of reviews on that scope because I am looking for an inexpensive scope and only two were negative. Almost all compared it positively to much higher end scopes. The two negatives I read, one said it fell out of zero after three shots and one said the glass came loose. But all the rest (I think about 30) gave it really positive reviews.

Yep I got mine on egay for (I think) 126 shipped.
Still ok with that if the scope works out. Its going on my marlin 17hmr, which I paid too much for so I guess its only fitting I paid too much for the scope. Maybe I'll get lucky and pay too much for the bipod and trigger job too. Lol

I have one in 6x20x44 with 30mm tube. Viper and it's pretty nice. Oh yeah it's BDC too.
