I'm looking at a S&W Mod. 4506 to buy from a friend. I have a 4006 and love it but don't any thing about the .45. Does anyone here have one, or is familiar with them? And what do you think one in worth.

I don''t have a 4506 so I can't really be of a lot of help but I've looked a a few throughout the years and always wanted one. I like the feel of the steel! I've enjoyed all my other S&W's. I'd say if it's in great shape and you can get it for no more than $625, it would be a good addition.
