Congratulations on the permit. Are you more familiar with autos or revolvers? As far as a carry piece goes I recommend something that feels good to you, and as small and as light as you can get without giving up too much ammo capacity or caliber size that your comfortable with. I mainly carry a glock 19, 27, or a j frame smith.

I thought about the Meet & Greet to get the feel for something I would like. I'm just not 100% if I can make it or not yet. I usually get busy in May but I'm trying. Should know something in a couple weeks.

Congratulations. Unfortunately, I can't help you with deciding on what to carry. A carry gun is as personal as the type of underwear you prefer. There's almost no wrong answer. Just carry something that feels right and makes a big enough hole (no 25s or 22s). I also recommend that you don't go cheap on the holster and belt. This is just as important as the weapon. FYI: I like the Glock 26.

Caleb, I was thinking about a super tuck but have not done any research yet to se what else i may want to try. I also need a new belt anyway so i'll get a good one.
The Super Tuck is a GREAT choice. It's the only holster I've ever had that can comfortably conceal my XD 45 with just a t-shirt over it.
