In order to zero my AR, the rear sight is adjusted almost ( seven clicks remaining) all the way over to the left. Could my front sight be canted? If so, how would you adjust the front sight post so the rear sight is not off center? This is a new complete upper receiver and barrel and it shoots a tight group.

It's a index problem.

The pin on top of the barrel extension [where it slides into the upper] is the cure to your problem.

Have to pull the barrel and with a small round file [size of the pin] take a little off the slot in the upper [a little goes a long way so go easy]. Not a hard job, just have to disassemble the upper to correct.

Remember the old saying: Front opposite, rear same.

Should be around $40 for a gunsmith to do.
