I need to order some parts for an older 90 degree breech 2nd gen G17 and I'm having trouble figuring out just what to order. Several of the parts I need are very confusing concerning the models they'll fit. Figured my best bet might just be to get together with an official armorer. Does anyone know one who operates locally? If so, I'd appreciate being put in touch with them. PM is fine, if you think they'd rather remain UTR. Thanks in advance.

Thanks again Reloader!

Got my parts today and all fit like a well worn glove. Well, all except for one that I didn't even ask you about. The only extractor I've found for this old 90 degree breech gun is wider than the stock part. I think Glock revised the part, but the new one sticks out of the slide about a 16th of an inch. Other dimensions are correct and it extracts just fine, but it looks a little odd. Additionally, it's now another snag point sticking out. Oh well, it's an old gun and I can live with it, I suppose. Anyway, with your fine advice and $30, I've got a nicely refurbed old glock 17 with a new ejector, extractor, slide release, and rear sight. Should be good for another 10k rounds and 20 years now. Thanks again for all of your assistance. Hope to repay the favor some day.:)

Hi Reloader. This is a different part than you're talking about. The extractors with the chamber loaded indicator have a little notch on the end. This one actually looks as though it should go on a larger slide. It's just cut about a 16th of an inch wider all the way across the part. It sticks out whether the chamber is loaded or not. No big deal, but it is another extrusion to catch on a holster or pocket. I believe it's gonna work just fine, but it's not quite right. The only 90 degree part I could find anywhere that was for a 90 degree G17 was the part # SP05509 like this one, although, since the part isn't marked with a #, I can't be sure they sent the right one:

Hi James D. Please let me know what you find out. Didn't you say you used to install head units in cars? If you do, I may have a little side job for you, if you have the time. I'm thinking I need to install a new unit in my son's '04 Grand Prix. His factory unit is crapping out on him. I could probably do it myself, but an expert installation may very well be worthwhile. If we get to that point, I'll PM you to see if you're interested.

Thanks again Guys for all of your help! :)

Just wanted to say that Ombexpress.com is great with their customer service. They were stand up concerning their responsibility for errors on their website and took good care of me. Nice supplier of guns and parts. They were recommended to me and I appreciate the recommendation.:)
