For the snow and ice?? I refilled my six "Aquatainers". I usually do this every six months anyway.
Refilled my firewood rack by the house.
Filled three gas jugs and also the Suburban's tank.
Bought a few "D" cells for the LED lanterns.
Ran the generator a few minutes.
Refilled a 20# Propane tank.
Bought a couple loafs of bread and a gallon of milk.
I'm ready :D

I will be as soon as I make it to the gas station to get beer! Got a invite to a "snow party" from a friend last night, I asked what that entailed and she replied "well, it's gonna snow, we're gonna get drunk, and have a party...snow party! Duh!"

PC, what LED lamp did you get? Getting to be a big fan of LED, got some flashlights but a lamp would be great, those LED's run forever. Was given a LED leather man and it's been running 3 years on wafer batteries.

I have the cheap ones from Bass Pro. They're not bad but probably not waterproof.

Yall dont forget to run your generators with a load on then. Dont just run them. My neighbor found this out the hard way new years day. His Generator runs great but was not making any power to the plug.

Only in Ark and La....

just a little sleet here no biggie
Yeah but here if there is so much as a drizzle between Memphis and Hattiesburg they call out all the entergy workers, mdot crews AND the national guard.

People go crazy every time it sprinkles in this state thinking it's a sign of the apocalypse or something. Fact is, it's gotta get a good bit more below freezing in order for the catastrophic events that the meteorologists have been predicting to take place

Coffee, cigs and toliet paper. I'm ready :lol4: I'm not really worried about the weather. It's might sleet and snow no big deal, it's not like we gonna die because of it. People been surviving winter weather for thousands of years, we will too.
