Barrel swap for a xd 40

I have an xd40 w/sported exhaust. My question is this. Can a non ported barrel of the same caliber and length but not ported be used in this weapon without changing the ported slide? :evilgun:

Don't know the definitive answer, but my experience with Glocks would make me say I don't know why not. The ports in the slide shouldn't matter, but you probably need to make sure both barrels are the same diameter. Other than that, if it fits, it should work, but you probably already figured out that much.

Non ported barrels can be used. Pistol Gear has some good options on their in house barrel and Barsto is available for a few bucks more.
