I acquired a Benelli Nova Pump 3 1/2 Mag in Advantage Max-4 camo in a trade over the weekend. It is a really good looking gun and seems to a good shooter so far. Anybody had any experiences with Benellis this is my first one?? Any Choke suggestions?

Yep I noticed that I ran some 3 1/2 turkey loads threw it just a while ago. I must say it wasn't as bad as the Mossberg 835 that I remeber.

Most of the ones I know who has them seems to like them. I had a 835 and was not fun to pattern with 3.5's

Frount sight is to big for my liking trigger is nothing like my 870 they rattle when you shake them the pumps seem loose but..... They shoot real well and throw great patterns. It's Wat you are used to that matters that's y they make so many brands of guns

the one i had dealings with was what i call nosiy everything about seemed loose so bad i didn't buy the gun and it new

I think they are hit or miss, two of my buddies have/had one. One rattles so bad it sounds like there are bb's bouncing around inside it and the other is quiet as a whistle. They both shoot good but I prefer the 870 any day of the week. Like deerhunter said it's what your used to that matters and what feels good to you. As long as it is reliable and groups nicely then who cares :tophat:

Like mine. If the fore end rattles, just tighten up the screws a little. Like the polymer - very durable. Love the magazine stop feature.
